Hi, I'm Andrew X Hodder.

I'm the former vocalist for Kane Hodder and and now am a mixing and mastering engineer specializing in punk, hardcore, alternative, and rock music.

After years of performing and working in studios, I trained under Bobby Torres through the Frightbox Recording Academy, where I learned that great records aren't made by expensive gear—they're made by great decisions.

I don't work out of a million-dollar studio filled with vintage equipment, and I don't believe that's what makes a mix connect with listeners. What matters is understanding arrangement, performance, balance, dynamics, and emotion. My training and experience have taught me how to hear what a song needs and bring out the best in every performance.

Whether I'm mixing, mastering, or programming drums, my goal is always the same: help artists achieve the strongest possible version of their music.
